Whiplash Treatments You Can Do At Home

Chances are, your kid may be suffering from a mild neck injury. It will surely heal after a few days. Thankfully, there are a lot of home remedies which can speed your kid’s recovery.

  1. The best (although, long) way is to use a hot compress. Apply this to the affected area for about 15-20 minutes about 2-3 times a day. This will help ease the pain and aid the healing.
  2. If your kid can’t seem to take the pain, aspirin or pain killers can help. These may not completely alleviate the soreness but for sure, your child will feel a bit of relief.
  3. Make sure your kid sits in a chair that has good back support. Having good support for the back will always help the neck. In a way, the pain won’t be as painful.
  4. Tell your child to relax. Being tense can cause the muscles around the neck to tighten causing more pain.
